106. Avoid single-use plastics of all kinds
Suddenly in 2018, several municipalities are considering or have passed bans on plastic drinking straws. This is an admirable first step, but all single-use plastics contribute to the horrifying problems of plastic garbage. When possible, furnish your own reusable drinking straw or drink without one; bring your own reusable coffee cup when buying coffee (even if the cup itself is recyclable, the lid is almost always plastic!), and be mindful of other convenience products you purchase with throw-away plastic.
