Sound Recording: Pileated Woodpecker Drumming

It’s been exactly two weeks since I saw BB, my banded Pileated Woodpecker, when a Cooper’s Hawk took over my yard. I thought it had ended badly for him, but today there he was! After eating at the feeder and spending some time in my boxelder, he went to the telephone pole and announced his return to the whole neighborhood. This was recorded as part of a video with my Canon R5 and 100-500mm lens.
