Laura Erickson's For the Birds

This is an excerpt from a longer recording with my Zoom shotgun microphone pointed toward my back shrubs. The closest bird is singing the newer White-throated Sparrow song, where the accented syllable makes the triplet sound like potato potato potato instead of Peabody Peabody Peabody ; one background bird is singing a weak version of the old-fashioned tune.
