Sound Recording: Boat-tailed Grackle

Recorded on April 14, 2018 Recorded in Anhinga Trail, Everglades National Park, Florida

This recording was made with Laura’s Zoom recorder built in stereo microphone, set on the railing of the boardwalk on the Anhinga Trail, close to where one male was displaying. The grackle sounds are virtually all this one male. His raspy calls were usually followed by a cool wing flutter display.
