A large colony of Roseate Spoonbills, Wood Storks, and other waders are raising young on Paurotis Pond in the Florida Everglades. Laura set up her directional microphone at the stop off the road to make this recording at 7:30 am on April 14, 2018. Boat-tailed Grackles hanging out in the weeds near her recorder make their presence known during the second half of the recording.
