Laura's Coverage of the BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill
I spent about 10 days in the Gulf from late July into August in 2010, following the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill. It was much, much worse than the government or the media represented. As I remember, only a single reporter of national prominence, Anderson Cooper, was using actual investigative journalism rather than simply buying the BP line about everything. Following are the blog posts I wrote about it. You can see photos and video at my BP Oil Spill Photo Album on Flickr.
