Catharus guttatus
Order: Passeriformes
Family: Turdidae (Thrushes and Allies)
The Hermit Thrush is our hardiest Catharus thrush, remaining in the Central and sometimes even Northern states during winter. Its ethereal song is one of the loveliest sounds of the northern woods.
